July 3, 2025 - INDEPENDENCE DAY SPECTACULAR: Liberty Hill, at Liberty Hill Middle School, 13125 TX-29. Map. 6-10p. Neighbors and friends gather to celebrate freedom in the most patriotic way. Residents engage in friendly competition for the coveted blue ribbon in challenges like the Homemade Apple Pie contest, Watermelon Seed Spitting contest and the Hot Dog Eating contest. Children play in the Radical Run Obstacle Course, ride the trackless train and jump on the Velcro wall. The activities pause mid-evening for the Beach Ball Drop. Thousands of hands raise in the air as children try to catch one of the hundreds of beach balls that fall from the sky, just before the headliner band kicks off. Then a spectacular fireworks show.
