This immensely special holiday marks our country's founding on July 4, 1776. With the parades, community gatherings, barbecues and good food, adorned in Red, White and Blue, watcching our fireworks . . and full of patriotism, we cherish our heritage. All-American, with family vibes!

Cherish the liberty and freedom defined in our Declaration of Independence and Constitution! All symoolized by our beautiful American flag. Be ever so proud, enjoy our traditions, and make memories.

It's America's 250th anniversary, and Boerne offers patriotic races, community gatherings, fireworks, live music, extended shopping, and family-friendly activities throughout the holiday weekend. Highlights include: • Flag Run 5K (July 4, 8a, Main Plaza): Patriotic run through downtown; participants encouraged to carry a full-sized American flag.
